Paranoid David and Victoria Beckham are installing a £1million (Dhs6m) security system that would bamboozle even the Mission: Impossible team in order to protect their family at their new London dream home. The couple have splashed out on the stunning £40million (Dhs240m) five-floor property in trendy Notting Hill, but Victoria is terrified the high-profile address will compromise their safety.
Sources close to the stars reveal that an incredible high-tech security system is top of their plans for the sprawling mansion, with the couple hiring ex-SAS soldiers to watch over them 24/7.
An insider revealed: “They want to turn it into a fortress and are spending over a million on this to make it priority number one.
“Victoria loves London but she never feels as safe there, and with all the attention around their new home she wants to take security extremely seriously. They will also have two private security guards – both based in a secret underground monitoring room equipped with feeds from more than 60 cameras covering every single entrance and side of the house. They are former SAS soldiers, so not the kind of people you’d want to come face to face with.”
