It’s one of our favourite Ajman haunts. Aquario’s elegant and contemporary setting perfectly complements the sophisticated seafood menu and classy ambiance. Opt for a la carte, or make your choice from the extensive fish bar, piled high with the catch of the day, including red snapper, sea bream and hand-dived scallops.
Hats off to Aquario for championing sustainability. The fish and seafood on the menu are sourced sustainably and the restaurant does not serve the ever-popular hamour due to its over-fished and endangered status.
Go local. Aquario collaborates with a number of local suppliers for its seasonal menu. Vegetables and herbs are sourced from Ajman farms, the restaurant works with a local smoker, and mozzarella and burrata come from an Italian family producer who uses milk from UAE and Omani producers.
They bake some of the best bread you’ll ever taste. Aquario runs its own artisan bread programme, where dough is slow-proved for a minimum 24 hours to ensure the best texture, flavour and crust. Throughout the week, the restaurant serves 14 different bread varieties, meaning every meal is slightly unique.
Come here for the views as well as the cuisine. Aquario’s floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the Al Zorah’s pristine coastline. A warm and welcoming sun-trap during the day, come for sundowners to enjoy the beautiful Gulf sunset.
Aquario’s ‘fish sommelier’, the in-house seafood expert who will guide you through the menu.
