Why rent a holiday house when you can buy one? Well that seems to be Angelina Jolie’s motto at the moment. From splashing a cool $40 million (Dhs146million) on a mansion in Italy this July to now investing in a Hungarian abode, Angelina is spreading her property portfolio all over the world.
The A-lister is directly her first movie in the European country and to make sure she felt right at home she spent a whopping amount on the plush pad. Reports suggest she has her kids with her too so she wanted to make sure they had somewhere to play while she was on location – will a outdoor lake and huge garden do?
Angelina, 35, says the film she is working on is about the Bosnian war. “The film is a love story, not a political statement,” she said.
“I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can.” Angelina is reportedly not starring in the film.
