This vast house in prestigious Emirates Hills was built, in conjunction with CLSE Interior Architect Consultancy, with entertainment in mind. A full-size bowling alley, a cinema, a 150sqm party room, a 9m-long bar and the obligatory pool and barbeque area are just some of the custom-built facilities that make this mansion unique.
Yet, at the same time, what certainly has not been forgotten is the important fact that this is also a family home. Indeed, this was probably one of the designers’ biggest challenges. However, both purposes were served seamlessly. One night the lounge can be used to host a party for 60 people and the next the family will be enjoying a relaxing night in on the sofa. It’s equally comfortable catering to both situations.
What immediately strikes visitors is the impactful double-storey entrance lobby with its crisp, white marble flooring and circular balustrade, all topped off with a dramatic gold-leaf dome. A combination of classic, traditional furniture and contemporary pieces, bought from the likes of Christopher Guy and Baker Interiors, furnish this home with style and elegance.
