The Backstreet Boys Dubai gig was perhaps never going to happen

The confusing Backstreet Boys Dubai concert mystery has taken yet another bizarre turn.

Ahlan! have been told exclusively that All Saints, who were originally listed to perform as a warm-up act for the boyband, never actually agreed to the gig and were never even booked to appear in Dubai.

A representative for the all-girl group, which features members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis and sisters Natalie and Nicole Appleton, revealed to Ahlan! that the girls would not be coming to Dubai and they have no idea where the story came from.

The rep said: “They weren't scheduled to appear I'm afraid. The girls won't be in Dubai with the Backstreet Boys. Sorry to disappoint.”

Earlier this week we were all in a state of giddy delirium when the BSB listed on their official website that they would be playing one date in Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 28 March. However, the event listing has now been removed from the site prompting fans to wonder if the gig has been cancelled.

There’s been no explanation from the boys and their representatives haven’t replied to us yet so we can only assume that AJ, Howie, Nick, Kevin, and Brian will not be singing in Dubai anytime soon.
