Alie's Life-Changing Moment
two-year-old, Alie should be cared for and happy. But hailing from war-torn Sierra
Leone, his life hasn't always been easy. Based at the All As One Children’s
Center in the country, now the tot has a chance for a brighter future with the Jebel
Ali Golf Resort & Spa having signed on to sponsor him. The sponsorship helps
to provide for one year’s worth of food, medical care and education for Alie
and will ultimately lead to a better standard of life for him.
General Manager of Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa explained, “All As One
provides a home for orphaned and abandoned children, giving them a safe
environment, education, medical care and most of all a family. Giving a home to
a child is priceless and we’re truly humbled to be associated with such a
worthwhile and respectable organisation”.

Leone, 1 in 7 children die before their fifth birthday. Fortunately, Jebel Ali
Golf Resort & Spa is helping to ensure that Alie is not included in that
heart-breaking statistic. Alie now has a loving home at All As One and the

The All As One Children's Center provides complete care for Sierra Leone’s most
vulnerable children. In addition to 24-hour crisis response and care, the
children receive specific and appropriate help including shelter, nutrition,
medical care and education. With a staff of over 35 Sierra Leoneans, All As One
is there for children, around the clock. For many of the children, this is the
first sense of home they have ever experienced.
