After making its debut last year, Dance Afrique is back with an even bigger line-up that you’re gonna want to go and see at Meydan Dubai.

The international event, which is a platform that unites all lovers of Afrobeats and other genres that have originated in Africa, will take place on Thursday 8 October. On this year’s headlining roster they have mutli-platinum selling singer Akon on behalf of Senegal, and rappers Two Tone and French Montana representing Morocco.

Akon, best known for hits Locked Up, Lonely and Sorry, Blame it on Me is a big fan of the region having performed in the UAE at least four times in the past two years. Ahlan! favourite Two Tone will be sure to get both his local and international fans on their feet after spending the summer touring Europe with Daddy Yankee. The Dubai-based artist is currently building momentum and riding high with his newest single Weli liya, featuring the beautiful Ibtissam Tiskat. French Montana needs no introduction, but we’re sure the Don’t Panic rapper will ensure the concert goes off with a bang.

As if that wasn’t enough Ahlan! columnist and Virgin Radio host Kris Fade is going to be hosting the extravaganza! See you there!
