Most of the big brands have already shown their collections in Milan so it was Roberto Cavalli and DSquared2 that were most eagerly awaited on day five of Milan Fashion Week.

Roberto Cavalli is known for his sexy dresses, hints of animal print and floaty fabric, and he didn’t disappoint this season either. Models walked down the catwalk in dresses with thigh-high splits, splashed with flashes of neon green and monochrome prints. Panels of animal print came through paying homage to Cavalli’s iconic look. Everything was floaty, from shirts to trousers to dresses; each design was carefully created in chiffon so that it floated down the catwalk. There were daring cut out sections in Swarovski encrusted dresses. Monochrome swirly prints brought us back to the strong trend that has been seen throughout the fashion weeks. Sitting comfortably front row were pop star Leona Lewis and Elizabeth Hurley and finance Shane Warne.

Jedward made for surprise front row guests at DSquared2. The comedy duo were pictured wearing tattoo tights and shorts suits. They later arrived in matching red blazers with black and white shirts and ties. The DSquared2 duo Dean and Dan Caten are twins themselves, could this be how they befriended the Irish twins?? The collection itself was dominated by the Caten surname which appeared across T-shirts throughout. There were tiny denim shorts with lace inserts, cropped blazers, party dresses with corset detailing and lots and lots of over the top blinging jewelry. There were baby pink pieces incorporated into some looks which broke up black and white pieces nicely. Not to everyone’s taste but there are sure to be plenty of party girls out there buying into this look.
