Adele halted her performance after 'messing up' to start again

Adele paid an emotional tribute to the late singer George Michael, who passed away in December 2016, last night at the Grammys.

However, the star abruptly stopped singing her slowed down version of his hit Fastlove after 50 seconds because she wasn't comfortable with the sound and was slightly off-key.

She announced, "I can't mess this up for him" and began again.

With the crowd cheering her on, the Hello hitmaker belted out the song perfectly the second time.
