Police are cracking down on drivers going slow in the fast lane

The Abu Dhabi Police has issues a warning, urging motorist who drive at slow speeds to not use the fast lane.

The video which was posted on the Twitter account, the Traffic and Patrols Department of Abu Dhabi said: "Drivers are urged to use the right track when driving at slow speeds." And if found violating these rules, motorists may be fined Dhs400.

The warning was issue as a part of their awareness campaign to reduce traffic accidents.

The police warned that driving slow in the fast lane and overtaking such a vehicle from the right are both risky, and can lead to major motorway accidents.
