Abu Dhabi’s New Privé

As of next week, Abu Dhabi will
add a new bar to its growing list of after-work destinations.

Privé, which isn’t associated
with the Armani Hotel, Dubai hot spot of the same name, will open its doors on
23 May at the Hyatt Capital Gate, certified by the Guinness Book of World
Records as the ‘World’s Furthest Leaning Tower’.

The bar is pitched as a venue
for informal drinks, food and the “occasional live sports event and cigar”.

“Conveying a style that can be
best described as ‘casual luxury’, Privé complements the iconic design of Hyatt
Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, promising an experience like no other,” says Ashwini
Kumar, General Manager of Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi.

Privé brings a little nostalgia
to the dining room with a menu inspired by comfort food as well as the Italian
homeland of Executive Sous Chef Ivan Musoni. Dishes such as hot dogs and pizzas
stay true to their origins, while choices like curry wurst, a German favourite,
offer an alternative dining scene.

INFO: 7pm to 12am, Sunday to
Friday, Hyatt Captial Gate, Abu Dhabi, 02 596 1234, www.abudhabi.capitalgate.hyatt.com.
