The former banker who’s putting children at the centre of her career success
The past 12 months have been amazing! Not only has the KidsHQ business boomed, we’ve had the chance to give back and be part of the community. I’ve met and made friends with such inspirational and powerful women who also share the dream of a better place for future generations. It was also an amazing honour for KidsHQ to win Time Out’s Best Play Area in 2016.
I can proudly say that we’ve transformed the market for children’s soft play and activities, taking it to the next level by changing the ideology of play areas being for play only. Instead, KidsHQ also serves as a support system for all the family by also running classes for parents, and it’s provided a platform to connect women on matters of business, childcare, education and wellness.
I feel a real sense of accomplishment when parents thank me for the session they‘ve attended on emotional intelligence, or the parenting coach I recommended to them.
This industry is very emotional. Parents want the best for their kids, and we want what’s best for parents and children alike. Recently a little girl ran up to me with open arms and called out, “Thank you Miss HQ for so much fun!” It was a heart-warming moment.
