A new survey revealed how many hours people in Dubai work and it's A LOT
Think you work insanely long hours? Well you're not wrong, the Dubai work hours are massively long and now there’s statistics to back it up. According to a report on how many hours people all around the world work annually shared by The Spectator's Index, Dubai was placed at number four with a solid 2,323 hours on an average, annually.
Though its not all bad as we’re WAY better than other cities. People working in Mumbai are officially the ‘hardest workers’ with the average employee clocking up to a whopping 3,315 hours per year.
Following Mumbai is Hanoi, Vietnam with 2,691 hours, Mexico City in third place with 2,622 hours and our very own city, Dubai in fourth with 2,323 hours followed by Istanbul with 2,319 hours.

UBS, a Swiss investment bank released these findings after evaluating 77 cities all around the world. The report also gave the sense of the number of hours one needs to work to afford an Iphone X with Dubai at 13.4 hours. The survey also looked into average holidays with Riyadh topping the list with as many as 37 vacation days.
