Dubai’s newest hotel has opened and it's rather Insta-friendly
Mandarin Oriental has officially opened its first property in the Middle East - and we’re pretty excited to take a first look of the fancy hotel.
Centrally located in Jumeirah (opposite Dubai’s Mercato Mall), Mandarin Oriental Jumeira contains 178 rooms, 78 suites (boasting pristine ocean views) and a 2,000 square metre spa.
The walls are dotted with art and ornaments - blending Asian and Middle Eastern heritage - and rooms have been designed in bright blues and earthy tones. Outside, 14 bronze metal trees with 900 lights lead down to the beach. Amazing.
Mandarin Oriental Jumeira is the Hong Kong-based operator's first new hotel in three years. The first guests are due to arrive on Monday and opening rates are priced from Dhs2,200 for superior rooms, Dhs2,800 for deluxe rooms and rise as high as Dhs15,000 for a two-bedroom sea-view suite. Casual.
Dubai's dining scene is also welcoming Netsu, a Japanese steakhouse, The Bay (brasserie), Mandarin Cake Shop and poolside bar/restaurant Sun Vibe – and the fifth floor Club Lounge offers expansive city and Burj Khalifa views.
To celebrate the opening, Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is offering an enticing New Wave of Luxury package, which includes a daily credit of up to AED 1,100 that can be spent throughout the resort. For more information and reservations, visit mandarinoriental.com/dubai
