Not even a car crash can
keep 50 Cent down. The rapper's rep has assured fans that he is doing just
"fine" after his Tuesday (26 June) morning car crash in NYC,
insisting he has already been released from hospital.
The Candy Shop hitmaker was
driving in Long Island, New York, when his vehicle is believed to have collided with a
tractor trailer in the early hours of the morning. Initial reports suggested that it had been a "horrific" crash.
According to 50 Cent's official
website, first responders took him to a medical centre in Queens after transferring
him onto a stretcher and fitting him for a neck brace.
A spokesperson for the star has since confirmed the news, revealing that he's
now in good health. A statement released to MTV News read, "Curtis '50
Cent' Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning.
He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck
and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."
