FRI 20 MAY
Brunch While You Still Can!
There are just three Fridays left before Ramadan begins, so book your last-chance brunches fast. There are a few new options on the table: Pierchic’s high-end brunch includes deluxe rickshaw transfers ferrying guests to the restaurant’s pod lounges on the pier where bubbles and oysters will be served before being seated for posh seafood platters, heirloom tomato and burrata salad, foie gras ballotine, and the like. Brunch Upon a Time at Garden, JW Marriott Marquis, is billed as “a late breakfast dedicated to fun, old skool music and food”, with the opportunity to play games such as Monopoly, Uno and Tetris to a soundtrack of vintage hip-hop tracks from DJ Keza. Of the established Friday feasts, we recommend Warehouse’s Hive brunch, which is an outstanding deal at just Dhs259 including house drinks and interesting food stations, from a massive wheel of molten brie and risotto mixed inside a great big boulders of parmesan, to a kebab stand. The service is fabulous too, and the place turns into a party, post-feeding time. INFO: Pierchic brunch, Dhs450-Dhs2,900, 12.30pm-4pm, Madinat Jumeirah, 04 432 3232, restaurants@jumeirah.com; Garden brunch, Dhs185-Dhs385, 1pm-5pm, JW Marriott Marquis, Business Bay, 056 600 8750; Warehouse, Dhs249, 1pm-4pm, Le Meridien Dubai, 04 217 0000, warehouse.lmdubai@lemeridien.com, warehouse-dubai.com
