It's February and it's time for FUN! It's cooler weather but that isn't affecting the happenings all over town. 

Here ar SIX wicked things to do this weekend. 

1. RedFest DXB

See Stormzy, Bastille, Martin Garrix, Noah Cyrus and more play the Dubai Media City Ampitheatre over Thursday and Friday. 

Tickets start from Dhs395 per person

2. See Sharjah Light Festival 

For the 10th year, see some of Sharjah's landmarks turned into incredible pieces of art through light. This weekend, see University City Hall turned into 'Planet Sharjah'. From 6pm-12am on weekends.

3. Ripe Market is on

Head to Academy Park to shop local, with Ripe Market in Umm Suqeim. It's on Friday from 9am-7pm and Saturday from 10am-7pm, with delicious foodie outlets, a dedicated dog park, sports academy and plant souq.

4. Go to Emirates Emirates Airline Festival of Literature

This festival brings together more than 130 of the world’s greatest writers, thinkers and doers, and the programme for this 12th edition of the festival is more than promising. Check out some of the fabulous talks and panels and live performances this weekend!
