15 injured as school bus crashes in Business Bay crossing
Authorities are investigating an incident where more than dozen pupils were injured in a motorway accident that took place on Monday morning between a school bus and a water tanker at the Business Bay Crossing at around 7am.
The students and teachers were taken to Rashid Hospital following the crash where 14 students were released after receiving treatment for minor injurie, while one student along with the driver and supervisor required further medical supervision.
The school was carrying students from Gems Our Own English High School – Al Warqa, Dubai Police said.
The motorists heading towards Sharjah were faced with heavy traffic towards Al Rebat Road, after the collision between the tanker and the school bus.
The official twitter page for Dubai Police released a statement about the matter.

The school bus and the water tanker were towed away around 8.30am following the crash.
