Karma Kafé
Karma Kafé is popular for after-work drinks and lunches, but if you want to enjoy four hours of uninterrupted Karma over the weekend then the new brunch menu is for you. There’s salmon sashimi with dried miso, flank steak with Szechuan-Thai cherry tomato salad, miso glazed cod and Florida Bay rock shrimp tempura among the mains. For dessert try the Asian twist on the French classic: black sesame crème brûlée.

Armani/Hashi
When it closed before summer there was no guarantee it would open again, but – sigh of relief! – it’s back by popular demand. Brunch in the landmark that is Burj Khalifa at the Armani Hotel’s Hashi is ideal if you’ve got rellies in town or an appreciation for fine Japanese cuisine. Options include sushi, tempura and live robatayaki and teppanyaki stations – there’s even teppanyaki ice cream.

Not keen to sacrifice one of those precious weekend days to a brunch? Then the Thursday surf and turf night brunch at Mistral is perfect for you. Not only is there live music and a great end-of-the-work-week lively atmosphere, there’s also all-you-can-eat surf and turf with delicious mains like a variety of shrimp, grilled lamb, steak and a packed sushi bar!

We’re loving the uh-maz-ing dim sum brunch on the re-opened al fresco Hakkasan terrace. Delight in 10 insanely delicious dim sum from the set menu, and hope they include the creation that looks like a plate of carrots, but is in fact lemongrass skewers of melt-in-the-mouth savoury mash with crispy-coating.

Rare
Talk about a brunch with a view! Along with feasting on a huge raw bar, towers of desserts and made-to-order grilled meats and fish, you’ll also have a feast for your senses with polo matches next to your table in the season. The terrace seating is elegantly done and conveniently located next to the foie gras station! Be sure to pair your pan-seared foie gras with apple compote and a vino from Alsace. Other highlights include the mountains of lightly battered tempura – the crab was our favourite – and the perfect steak with béarnaise sauce.

Mina A’Salam Grand Brunch
The Mina A’Salam Grand Friday Brunch just got a lot bigger as the Madinat Jumeirah’s signature Cantonese restaurant Zheng He’s has been added to the multi-restaurant brunch!
