For nearly two decades, DJ and producer Eddy Ramesh has been one of the most influential figures in the edgy central European dance scene. He’s from Zagreb, Croatia, and is best known for house, dub step and jazz fusion. He’s garnered numerous awards, and even has his own radio station in his native Croatia.

My Music X
Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 March
Dubai’s newest music event, this festival merges concerts with an overwhelming host of other events. The workshops at My Music X Village at Dubai International Marine Club not only concern music, but also feature sport and fashion. Acts in town include British X-Factor finalist Cher Lloyd as well as Sean Paul, Akon, and Eve, who will all be performing at the main concert on Thursday 28 March at Atlantis, The Palm. You can also see Baauer, the man behind global video phenomenon, the Harlem Shake, who is by no means a bad replacement for Gangnam Style’s Psy, who was originally on the bill. Acclaimed DJ Tiesto is returning to Dubai, this time as part of the Sunburn Festival. Often mentioned in the same sentence as the words ‘best DJ of all time’, he also made the record books three years ago with his 15-month Kaleidoscope World Tour, which totted up 175 dates and a million people. It culminated in an LA gig for 26,000 revellers, making it the biggest single DJ headline show in American history. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s mega Biblical musical is heading to Dubai this week. Expect all the showstopping songs including Any Dream Will Do and Close Ev’ry Door as well as a big helping of family fun. The show is from the team who brought Oliver, The Sound of Music and Blood Brothers to the region. The cast includes local talent plus veterans of top shows including Les Mis and Phantom of the Opera, so we’re looking forward to a top-notch production.
