As the co-founder of home-grown fashion powerhouse S*uce boutique and the designer and owner of her eponymous label, Zayan has established herself as a trendsetting force to be reckoned with. S*uce’s popularity has steadily grown since the first outlet opened at The Village Mall, Jumeirah, a decade ago. Last year marked a period of growth for the brand, as two new concepts were added to its chain of boutiques across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. S*uce in the Hood sells everyday wear at Citywalk, while S*uce Gifts, in Al Wasl Square, offers a huge range of fashionable, fun lifestyle items all under one roof. The latter went one step further with a round-the-clock shopping solution – a gift vending machine. With more than 35 products in stock, from jewellery to T-shirts and even holidays, a forgotten birthday or anniversary no longer spells an automatic trip to the doghouse.

Zayan admits that the coming year will be equally busy. She’s secured locations for a further three S*uce concepts – S*uce-on-Sea, to be based at new JBR development The Beach; a fine jewellery concept store, S*uce ROCKS; and children’s boutique S*ucette. If there was ever any doubt that she was leading the fash pack, the forthcoming stand-alone Zayan the Label store will serve as a constant reminder.
