Do you think Bey has a political agenda?

Beyoce surprised none other than US President Barack Obama at the White House Easter Egg Roll last Sunday, and now the singer has received a surprise of her own!

The Drunk in Love star, who is currently working on a new album, was recently in Los Angeles shooting a promo for the record when a special guest joined her in the studio, according to Us Weekly. That guest was none other than US presidential candidate Hilary Clinton!

While we don't know as yet if Clinton will be appearing in Beyonce's video, or what the purpose of the set visit was, we do know that the presidential hopful is quite the fan of Queen Bey.

"I want to be as good a president as Beyonce is a performer," she said. "You see her on TV, it's impressive; you see her in person, you're just stunned. Thinking like, 'How does she do that?' Really. I mean, she's singing, she's up and she's down. She's just amazing."

We agree, Hilary!

Beyonce has returned the favour, and has shown her support for the Democratic candidate in the past as well. The singer attended a Clinton fundraising event in New York City last year in May.

Meanwhile, Beyonce fans are eager to hear her new material, and songwriter Carla Marie Williams reveals her upcoming album is "very powerful."

"When I'm in the studio with Beyonce she makes you feel so at ease you forget she's a superstar," she told British newspaper The Mirror. "I'm loving where she's going. I haven't heard the whole album but we're talking real issues. The new single we've done is very powerful."

Beyonce released her new single Formation last month and put on quite the controversial performance of the track during the Super Bowl football game. While it's not yet known when the new album will be released, Beyonce has set the tone for a powerful musical offering, and we can't wait to hear the rest of it.
