Here's what you need to know about Wednesday's weather

A shock weather forecast has revealed winds of up to 45kph in the UAE on Wednesday, expected to cause sandstorms and extremely poor conditions for drivers, according to 7Days newspaper.

Temperatures are also expected to drop over the coming days to below 30°C.

“Motorists are expected to be cautious while driving especially on highways as temperatures slightly drop in the coming days,” urges Ahmed Habib, Special Meteorologist at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

Sailing on Wednesday is also not advised, added Habib. “We expect blowing and accelerated winds, particularly on Wednesday. As a result the sea will be rough and people are advised to stay away from the deep sea.”

Last month sandstorms caused 135 traffic accidents in Dubai, so please stay safe!
