UAE to celebrate Flag Day on November 2

UAE residents please take note!

The Ministry of Cabinet and the Future has announced that UAE Flag Day celebrations will take place on Thursday, November 2 instead of Friday, November 3 2017 reports Khaleej Times.

All ministries, federal bodies and their affiliates will raise the UAE flag at 11am on Thursday, November 2.

Launched in November 2013 by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, Flag Day is a national campaign that takes place every year to commemorate the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the nation.

It is a day celebrated by residents and national alike, reflecting their patriotism and loyalty to the UAE and its Founding Fathers.
