The UAE passport keeps getting stronger!

Starting 1 July 2018, UAE citizens will be exempt from pre-entry visa to the Caribbean island of Barbados, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between UAE and Barbados, which means UAE passport holders can travel to picturesque Barbados without a visa, with the possibility of staying for up to 90 days on each visit.

But that’s not all. The UAE and Brazil have also signed a visa exemption agreement, which means citizens of both countries will be granted visa-free entry. Yas!

"Holders of all types of UAE passports may travel, effective June 2nd, 2018, to Brazil without prior visa arrangements and stay for a maximum of 90 days each year," said Ambassador Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Last minute trip to Rio, anyone?
