HOW MUCH: From Dhs500
THE TREATMENT: On arriving at Jacques La Couple Hair Salon I was escorted to my own private treatment room. This really was first-class treatment so it’s little wonder the salon has so many celebrity guests, including Lionel Richie who had been in for a trim just the week before. My stylist Jacques got to work, beginning with a consultation on the condition of my hair. I knew it was dry and badly damaged from the heat, so when he suggested this treatment I was more than pleased! As the lights were dimmed and the massage chair switched on, I lay back while my hair was washed and then had a lovely, relaxing head massage. The absolute repair mask was then smoothed into my hair from root to tip and felt luxurious. Next my hair was dried with the treatment still in. Once 70% dry Jacques got to work with the new L’Oreal Steampod. Going over each strand of hair in a straightening-like process the Steampod allows the pores in your hair to open up, allows the product to be absorbed, as well as sealing split ends. Finally my hair was washed again and then blow-dried and styled.
THE RESULTS: Once dry, my hair was the smoothest it has been in a long time. It had a just-cut feel despite it being months since it was trimmed. Even after washing my hair a couple of days later, the results stayed for days. A success
