THE TREATMENT: What better way to be pampered like a celebrity than with a full body massage? A favourite with the likes of Mila Kunis and Jada Pinkett Smith, I’m in good company! As I entered the splendour of the Elixir Spa, I was certainly looking forward to 75 minutes of pure bliss. I laid face-down on the bed and the treatment began with a gentle massage to my back. The therapist then applied Moroccan Argan oil, a rare oil from the Argan tree that has a number of therapeutic properties. My therapist continued the massage along my legs and feet, which tickled a little bit! The treatment finished off with a relaxing head massage that made me so relaxed I almost fell asleep!
THE RESULTS: Although I was covered from head-to-toe in the Moroccan oil, I did feel very relaxed and even slightly light-headed from letting all my stress go. After a much needed shower and scrub my skin felt very soft and there was definitely a reduction of tension in my muscles for the next few days. Well worth a try!
