Peruvian cuisine is the result of a 500-year-old melting pot of Spanish, Italian, African, Japanese and Chinese immigration combined with native Peruvian culture.
What are some classic Peruvian dishes?
Food huts at Taste of Peru will be offering classic dishes such as ceviche and tiradito, causa, quinotto and empanadas, along with Peruvian juices and the renowned national grape cocktail.
Which special dishes should I look out for?
Look out for beef anticucho (grilled beef skewers), vegetarian causa (mashed potato terrine) and quinoa salad.
What else can I expect?
Taste of Peru will include a guest appearance by Peruvian chef Christian Bravo as well as live performances by Peru Andino, a renowned group of Peruvian musicians flying into Dubai exclusively for the event.
