At the helm of The Belhasa Group of companies sits its Chairman, Saif, who, along with his wife Sarah, started a driving school back in 2001 with just 15 cars. That has now grown to a fleet of 650 vehicles, while the conglomerate Saif and Sarah created has become a household name. Encompassing a number of sectors, from tourism and food to construction, it employs in the region of 10,500 staff.

Sarah has branched out further still, channelling her passion for fashion through her Studio 8 boutique in Jumeirah, which showcases the talents of up-and-coming designers. Frequently spotted on the social circuit, her impeccable sense of style has made her a regional icon in her own right.

Last year, Saif took home the Businessman of the Year award at the Esquire Middle East Man at His Best Awards in recognition of his immense achievements; he’s also been named one of the world’s 500 most powerful Arabs. But he reveals that as well as working hard, being professional and perpetually positive has played a huge role in his success – and says his key attribute is humility. As Sarah puts it: “It’s about always being happy and grateful with whatever you have, to appreciate the small things in life and express gratitude to the Creator.”
