It's the only beach on The Palm which is not just reserved for residents or hotel guests, and RIVA's planning a revamp. The beach club's set to unveil a revamped restaurant and new menu before the summer. We hear it's getting an Italian twist! In the meantime it's open for chillaxing!

RIVA has its own stretch of private beach with more than 450 comfy sun loungers for day hire  – no membership fee is required. There's also a climate controlled pool, a licensed bar and al fresco restaurant.

RIVA is also home to beauty by Kalm and pampering by Dreamworks as well as florist Bliss. there's also a surf school and chance to  hire paddle-boards and kayaks or take a scuba class with resident dive school, Divers Down. Also don't miss Sophie's Cafe, a home-grown Dubai brand serving up honest and natural, freshly prepared healthy food with a big focus on organic and local produce.
