You’ve seen the celebs waving their intricately patterned talons about recently? Well, now you can dress up your nails to the max too. Minx manicures have arrived in the UAE and that means there’s an entire new range of looks that far outstrip the usual enamel shades on offer at the local nail bar. From dogtooth checks and solid metallic mirror-finishes to candy stripes with anchors and floral prints, the choices are staggering. In fact it took me almost as long as the manicure lasted to decide on a pattern. Eventually I opted for pink leopard print.
The individual transfers (pre-patterned nail-shaped stickers), where wrapped over my nails, tucked into position with a birchwood stick and then filed to remove the overhang. Voila: perfect manicure in minutes.
