Food-focussed regulars and first-time diners alike should make a bee-line to Japanese see-and-be-seen culinary hotspot Okku Restaurant & Lounge to sample the multitude of new dishes – 36 to be exact – that have just been added to their already impressive menu.

Fans of the signature spicy tuna on crispy rice and divine crunchy rock shrimp that will remain firmly on the new menu, should branch out and explore this bustling venue’s new tuna and foie gras carpaccio, dressed with sweet soy and fresh lemon, sprinkled with black volcanic salt and garnished with chives and garlic crisps, or perhaps you might like to give the Wasabi Tofu, (crispy tofu in wasabi mayonnaise with citrus sesame and soy Miso) a try? Big spenders will splash out on the succulent Miso-baked Atlantic Lobster Onigarayaki or Alaskan King Crab with avocado in a yuzu truffle dressing.

One thing is for sure. what to order has suddenly become even more mind-boggling.The only way to solve this dining dilemma? Return repeatedly!

Whether you’re a die-hard carnivore, or salivating at the thought of miso-marinated Norwegian salmon, there will be something for you to wax lyrical over on this new menu. The difficulty will be in deciding what to choose from the mouth-watering selection on offer. Just make sure you save room for a scoop of their home-made ice cream; the dark chocolate one is always a winner in our books!
