No chance: Noel Gallagher is not interested in an Oasis reunion

Ahlan! Group Editor Sarah Hedley Hymers is going to be absolutely gutted when she hears this bit of news.

British rocker Noel Gallagher has quashed rumours of an impending Oasis reunion, despite recently making amends with his singer brother Liam.

The band crumbled in 2009 following a major bust-up between the rock siblings, and they've been estranged ever since, however the Gallaghers are now rumoured to have made up after Liam was spotted at one of his brother's concerts earlier this month.

Liam is currently without a band following the recent split of his post-Oasis group Beady Eye, fuelling speculation the iconic British group will return to mark the 20th anniversary of their Morning Glory? album later this year.

However, Noel, who currently performs under the name Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has now spoken out to deny the reports, telling Britain's Absolute Radio: "I don't block anything out. I remember it (Oasis) which is why I don't want to do it again."

That's a real shame for our Group Ed Sarah who just last week revealed that Oasis are the one band she would like to see make a comeback. Looks like she's going to have shift her wishes to a Spice Girl reunion instead!
