No respite from the heat for UAE residents

This weekend, it would be wise to hit the mall instead of the beach, otherwise you may burn to a crisp!

Temperatures starting Thursday will continue to be in the high 40 degrees Celcius, the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) reports.

“Hot to very hot weather and hazy in general, partly cloudy at times, the amounts of medium clouds will increase especially over eastern and southern areas with probability of some slight rain during night and morning times,” the centre’s forecast stated on Twitter.

"The relative humidity will increase during night and morning over some coastal areas. Sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times over the Arabian Gulf and moderate over Oman sea.”

Temperature highs of 45 degrees Celcius are expected in coastal areas, 49 in inland areas and 39 in the mountains.
