Thought you knew it all when it came to exploring Dubai? New mobile app travall, developed here in the UAE, reckons it’s going to change all that.

The UAE’s first ever video guide mobile application, it’s going to go live on National Day, 2 December – and even better, it’s absolutely free of charge to download.

The travall app

The new app promises to offer users a complete ‘interactive visual experience’, with users able to create ‘pre-mories’ before they visit. Users will be able to check out all manner of venues, restaurants, hotels, clubs and more, with 30- to 60-second videos offering them a sneak peak before they try for themselves. They’ll also be able to film and upload their own 15-second VideoReview – the first time this has been done in the UAE.

And it doesn’t stop there. Other key features on the app include a facility for building a trip itinerary, making reservations, rating and reviewing outlets, redeeming exclusive vouchers and last-minute deals, and sharing updates on social media. And it pays to sign up: the most engaged users will earn points towards prizes and rewards, with the rewards kitty currently in reaching $100,000 (over Dhs360,000)!

The app’s developers have big plans for the brand and, after Dubai, will be expanding Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, India, Mexico, South Africa and the US.

travall will be available to download from 2 December from the App Store and Google Play.
