After semi-retiring from acting in 2000 following his revelation he was suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, the 48-year-old dad-of-eight has never looked better after what close friends are calling an incredible bounce back from the debilitating disease.
Spotted on a day out with his kids – who range from 20 to eight – and his beloved wife Tracy at Disneyland, the actor looked rejuvenated and on better form than ever.
“His condition has improved incredibly,” said a family friend who credits new drugs and other treatments for his improvement. “Tracy and the kids kept him going during his worst times,” said the friend. “And believe me, there were some very bleak days. But that’s what makes this rebound all the more joyous. Michael takes nothing for granted and lives for the moment.”
Not only has Michael just finished his third book, he’s now got a sting of Hollywood projects in the pipeline…“Michael knows that with Parkinson’s, a setback could be just around the corner. So he makes the most of the good times.”
It’s great to see him looking so healthy and happy!
