Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are set to launch a new "prestige" fragrance. The stylish twins will create their first perfume under their own Elizabeth and James label with Sephora in March.
The senior vice president of Sephora Originals, Michael McGeever, confirmed the spring collaboration yesterday.
“We look forward to bringing the modern perspective and fashion philosophy of Elizabeth and James designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to life with this prestige fragrance,” he enthused to WWD.
The duo aren’t new to the fragrance business, having previously launched a range of body sprays.
The 26-year-olds have also been busy at New York Fashion Week, showcasing the Spring/Summer 13 collection of their luxury label The Row. Models walked the runway in almost exclusively single-coloured outfits, finished off with perfect tailoring.
The twins themselves described their pieces as “a world of pure, soft and delicate lightness”.
Mary-Kate and Ashley’s younger sister, Elizabeth, supported them at the show. Known for her roles in critically acclaimed films such as Martha Marcy May Marlene, Elizabeth marvelled at the runway offering.
“I've never been to a classier event in my life! I loved every moment of it,” she gushed afterwards.
