Ten years from now... I would like to be able to reduce my workload in my regular clinic and dedicate more time to charity

Since his arrival in Dubai in 2006 from his native Germany, Dr Marc Sinclair has applied his talents to making a difference in the Middle East. As a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon, his day job changes children’s lives every day, while the charity he founded, the Little Wings Foundation, provides surgery to kids in war-torn countries, whether they’ve been injured or to treat problems they’ve had since birth. Last year, Marc operated on his 100th child on behalf of the foundation, which covers all the surgical costs. He also embarked on a surgical mission to Gaza alongside his growing team; he made a similar trip in January, this time to the Syrian border.

On the home front, Marc is working to achieve excellence in paediatric medicine in Dubai, where the field is currently underdeveloped, by holding an annual regional conference for healthcare professionals and key care providers. The event is now in its second year.
