Lionel Messi to testify in court

Footballer, Lionel Messi, will be testifying in Dubai Court over the policeman who posted a photo of the athlete's passport on Snapchat.

Bin Suwaidan Advocates and Legal Consultants stated "it is the right of the defence team to hear the testimony of the passport's holder and, in this case, it is Messi" and he could be on the defence argument. The appeal hearing is set to be on 1 March.

The policeman has been charged for 'abusing telecommunication system and breaching Messi's privacy' as he filmed a video of himself with the Messi's passport making inappropriate comments like "Shall I burn the passport or just put it back?".

The athelete vistied Dubai for the 10th edition of the Dubai Sports conference at the end of December 2015.
