Le Petit Belge
Bringing a little European style to Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Le Petit Belge feels very un-Dubai. The dark wood setting with kooky signs, tiled walls and a wide variety of Belgium hops feel chic compared to many other locations.
The food offering is typically Belgium, often twisted with local ingredients to keep things interesting. If you’re a lover of fromage, this place has one of the best, most varied cheeseboards we have found in Dubai, while seafood aficionados will adore the North Sea mussels with Belgium fries and homemade tartare sauce.
Love a ladies’ night? We say take the day off. The offering here starts at 12noon every Wednesday, where the fairer sex can enjoy free-flowing house white grape and a whopping 50 per cent off the food menu.
As the evening wears on the tunes amp up. The DJ whips guests into a pop-fuelled frenzy with a batch of songs that are impossible not to shake a tail feather to.
Every Friday and Saturday there is a breakfast brunch to get your teeth into. Dine on French toast, fluffy pastries and yolky eggs Florentine from just Dhs99, or indulge in a premium offering and add a bottle of bubbles for Dhs390.

The Belgian cheese croquette. Gooey, cheesy deep-fried balls of happiness with a sweet dipping sauce. Yum!
