We reported last week that Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Humphries was a scam, and this has now been confirmed by her publicist Jonathan Jaxson. Jonathan who worked with Kim between 2007 and 2009, says she wanted to pull out but couldn’t stop her wedding because of a contract with E! who paid for the rights to film the ceremony.

“Two weeks prior to her wedding she knew it was not something she wanted to do,” Jonathan said, “Unfortunately they were obligated to honour contracts otherwise they would have owed people a lot of money.”

Kim is allegedly still in love with ex boyfriend Reggie Bush and had wanted to cancel her wedding to Kris Humphries for him. Jaxson, 31, said Kim had “never gotten over” Reggie.

Kim and Reggie dated for two years before she started dating husband-to-be Kris. Kim filed for divorce on October 31, just 72 days after her extravagant wedding that earned them Dhs60 million in media deals.

Kim is throwing herself into her work to avoid the scandal. She is currently filming the movie The Wedding Counselor with co-star Vanessa Williams and the twosome have been spotted out and about together, arriving at LAX airport at the weekend.

Vanessa is bound to be a rock for Kim as she has already had two failed marriages. The actress divorced the father of her three children, Ramon Hervey II, in 1997, before marrying and divorcing basketball player Rick Fox.
