Khloe Kardashian has insisted she's not scared about giving birth, as she prepares to welcome her first child into the world.

The 33-year-old reality star is preparing to start her family with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, with their daughter due to make her big arrival any day now.

And despite her mother Kris Jenner telling Entertainment Tonight this week that Khloe's "ready" but "scared" about the delivery, Khloe told fans that's not the case in a new post on her app and website.

"I've seen over eight births live and in person," she wrote. "Women were made to do this! It's a very natural experience."

However, she did admit she has some nerves about the process - which is only natural.

"Of course I'm a little nervous to go into labour, but I'm trying not to overthink something that literally happens all the time," she added.

Meanwhile, Khloe's post comes amid the news she's set to produce true crime series Twisted Sisters. The six-part series, which will focus on sisters that kill each other and other siblings who work together to kill, will air on Investigation Discovery in 2019.

“I am so excited to be bringing you Twisted Sisters," she told Page Six. "As a self-proclaimed ‘true-crime addict’ there is no better way to tell these tales about the bonds that sisters possess and how they can go so terribly wrong."

Khloe even helped come up with the name of the new series, ID executive Henry Schleiff revealed, adding: "We are thrilled to be working with Khloe on this new venture.

"With one of the most renowned experts on sisters now a member of our own ID family, we know she will be able to bring a unique perspective that will inform and entertain our fans, while enticing new viewers to tune in."
