A former Miss World Australia, Jessica has seen her career flourish since her win in 2012, having modelled for countless big brands. However, since her official move to Dubai in the second quarter of last year to become the face and presenter of Yahoo Maktoob Entertainment, the Lebanese-Australian has surpassed her own expectations. Collaborating with elite brands like Louis Vuitton for editorials and photoshoots, Jessica also graced the covers of countless magazines, including the launch of the very first issue of Condé Nast Middle East and the first pan Arab issue of L’Officiel. She also became the first ever brand ambassador for Roberto Coin jewellery in the Middle East, her US counterpart for the brand being supermodel Christy Turlington. With a day job interviewing and hanging out with celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Will.I.am, Adriana Lima and 50 Cent, it seems it’s not just in the gene-pool lottery that Jessica’s winning.
Away from the glitz and the glamour, Jessica says that it is her charitable work that makes her tick, working on the ground here with disabled children at the Rashid Paediatric Centre, while abroad she is involved with Charity: Water, which raises awareness of water shortages and encourages donations in order to build clean drinking water wells in impoverished countries.
