Now this is one piece of Rihanna news we weren’t expecting! A Twitter post by Chris Brown on 19 January captioned “LOL” along with a picture of him wearing a T-shirt with ‘You Are The Father’ on the front has sent the rumour mill into overdrive about whether Chris and RiRi are expecting a baby. OMG!
Just seconds after the tweet, one of Chris’ followers piped up, “Is this subliminal for telling the world that Rihanna is pregnant?” And the plot thickened when RiRi was papped meeting up with Chris late on 18 January after a night out, during which she wasn’t spotted drinking. Mysterious and extremely out of character!
Hollywoodlife spilled, “Rihanna and Chris Brown were in the studio making music together on Thursday 17 January. Following the business side of their week, they partied together at Emerson nightclub in Hollywood on 18 January, before heading back to Chris’ house, separately.”
But is this as clear cut as it seems? Well of course not, because Chris Brown has also been spending a lot of time with on again/off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who he could just as easily have been referring to when he mentioned becoming a dad.
And that’s not all! Bloggers have been quick to pity whoever is the mother of Chris Brown’s supposed baby. Gather.com snapped, “Hopefully neither of these young women is saddled with this kind of commitment. They both deserve better than Breezy, but for some unknown reason continue to submit to his every demand at a moment’s notice.” Oh dear.
Rihanna, 25, who once-claimed she didn’t want children before she hit 30, has stayed mum about the rumours so far, but recently revealed, “Eventually I want a family. God has a way of working things out the way he wants to and you have no say in that.” Hmm, we’ll be keeping an eye on this shocking piece of news. Let bump watch begin!
