EXCLUSIVE: Thirty Seconds to Mars Change Dubai Concert Date
Fans of Thirty Seconds to Mars will be disappointed to hear that the gig, that was scheduled for 10 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre Arena will no longer go ahead.
However, all is not lost and the award winning band will instead be in Dubai on 25 September. Hoorah!
The change of date is down to a scheduling conflict, (probably something to do with lead singer Jared Leto being busy filming Suicide Sqaud, which Team Ahlan! can’t wait to see, btw) but we’ve been assured that the lads will definitely be touching down here later this year.
In a statement, the band, who are clearly men of few words, has said: “Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
All tickets bought for April show will be valid for the new date of the concert on 25 September. Live Nation has also committed to a full refund for anyone who wishes to do so through Ticketmaster. All details on how to claim a refund are posted on www.marsindubai.com and the deadline to claim the refund is on Friday 10 April.
Live Nation has also promised to dedicate ten percent of all existing concert goers who already purchased tickets the opportunity to enter a lottery for a chance to win ticket upgrades, signed merchandise or meet and greet with the band.
Tickets for the September show will resume selling on Ticketmaster.ae on Wednesday 1 April at the same prices currently advertised. Winners of competitions organised by Thirty Seconds to Mars, Live Nation or any media partner outlets are also valid and will carry forward to 25 September.
The #MARSBattleoftheBands will still be carried forward and can be expected to just get bigger and better. More entries will be accepted and the reopening date for submission will be announced shortly. Entries received earlier stay in the competition.
