Emma Roberts Launches New Jewellery Line

Actress Emma Roberts has become the latest celebrity to add jewellery designer to her resume.

The 23-year-old actress, who is the niece of Oscar winner Julia Roberts, said that she is extremely excited about her new task, reported Ace Showbiz. The petite starlet explained that: “it was amazing when BaubleBar approached me, I was just so excited because I’ve seen their jewellery and I really liked their designs, so I was like this is going to be a lot of fun.”

When asked about the inspiration behind the collection, Emma said, “I love magazines and for the past ten years I’ve been collecting cutouts from magazines, and all my friends make fun of me because I literally just have shoe boxes full of different cutouts with different labels on them. And so, basically I pulled photos from years ago, created a collage of my favourite vintage pieces and basically presented it, and much to my surprise they [Baublebar] loved it.”

Ms Roberts has teamed up with the executive designers at the jewellery retailer website to create a 19-piece collection, which she launched online last Tuesday (September 23) with the adverts featuring the starlet modeling her “favourite” items from the collection.

The Aquamarine star is also due to add further accessories to the range, including a 10-piece holiday line which will go on sale this November.

The actress follows in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie, Nikki Reed and Kate Bosworth, who have all previously entered the bauble business.

If her design skills are as good as her acting skills, her collection is definitely going to be an instant sell-out!

INFO: Emma’s collection is sold within the price range starting from Dhs88 to Dhs474, available at www.baublebar.com
