The UAE government has officially announced the 2018 Eid al-Fitr holiday dates for public sector employees.

It's been declared by WAM, that in the UAE the holiday will begin on Thursday 29 Ramadan (which corresponds to 14 June), until 3 Shawwal. 3 Shawwal is yet to be officially declared, but it is expected to be Sunday 17 June. 

It's expected that Eid will fall on Friday 16 June, so the holiday will run from Thursday 14 June until Sunday 17 June. 

Everyone is expected to be back at work on Monday 18 June. 

Holidays for anyone with private sector jobs is yet to be announced.
