This is definitely a sign that the UAE's weather is about to get better!

For it's sixth year running, Dubai Miracle Garden (DMG) has officially opened to the public today. Featuring an overwhelming 50 million flowers, 20 percent more than last year, it's the perfect way to savour the weather (and not to forget, the perfect place for those coveted Instagram shots).

Visitors can make their way to the 72,000 sqm park, located in Al Barsha 3, until May next year. This year's theme is 'Sunflower Lovers' at DMG, and 15 variations of sunflowers were tested for one whole year to ensure only the best were picked for this season's installation, reports Khaleej Times.

Interestingly, the flowers have to be planted four to five months before the season begins, which is actually in the peak of summer!

"This (hot weather) is really a big challenge but we always think something different and, for us, this is not just a hobby. We carefully study the plants and create our own concept. We don't leave anything to chance," said Abdel Naser Rahhal, founder and creator of DMG.

We can't wait to visit!
