Dubai hits a whopping 50 degrees
With temperatures hitting a whopping 50.5 degrees in the Mezaira area yesterday, the whole city was feeling the heat with humidity reaching an uncomfortable 62%.
Luckily, today is expected to be slightly cooler with highs of 41 degrees, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). A moderate wind is forecast for today which may feel refreshing at times but will also blow dust/sand across Dubai creating a hazy day, particularly in the afternoon as clouds may start to form eastwards. Remember to take a scarf out with you to protect your face from nasty gusts of sand and debris!
Dubai feels humid and very hot
Unfortunately for our hair, humidity will increase again tonight and by early morning expect some fog/mist when you look out of your window. Make sure you apply frizz-reducing potions to your poor tresses before heading out into the stickiness.
The gorgeous blue ocean will be moderate to rough in both the Arabian and Oman Sea.
Look for shaded parts and try to avoid standing in direct sunlight if you can today. Also, skip the beach. Rough sea... sandy winds... There are better days to build a sand castle.
