An Emirates flight from London to Dubai was recently diverted after a medical emergency occured on board. Flight EK030 was forced to make an emergency landing in Kuwait after a passenger was found unresponsive onboard. 

A medical team was on standby at the Kuwait Airport and the passenger was taken to the hospital immediately following the landing. Unfortunately, the passenger did not survive, and was pronounced dead by the hospital, reports Khaleej Times.

"Emirates flight EK030 from London to Dubai on 4th December 2017, was diverted to Kuwait due to a passenger being unresponsive," Emirates said in a statement.

"Upon arrival in Kuwait, passenger was met by the medical team and taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead."

"The flight continued to the destination. Emirates expresses its condolences to the passenger's family," the statement added.
